I know that HAECO was famous in the industry for the makeover of luxury private jets. Can you remember any of the “tours de force”?

“The Emperor’s Plane”, of course…
The luxurious decoration of the "Emperor plane"
“The Emperor’s Plane” was elegant and well crafted: there were golden frame and golden fabric and golden toilet seat. It came for service every one or two years. It was a C-47, from Cambodia. A very exquisite plane. We contracted out the embroidery and put them on the plane once they’re done.
The C-47 of the Cambodian government was nicknamed “The Emperor’s Plane” in HAECO because it served as the private jet of Norodom Sihanouk, the King of Cambodia.
Cambodia was wealthy in the 60s before the civil war broke out.The luxury private jet of Norodom Sihanouk was sent to HAECO for service every year.

The interior decoration of a luxurious private plane
There was one with a wood interior and a golden tap. It was the Emir’s. We had a lot of Saudi planes at that time.
In 1967, the VIP fleet of the South Korean Air Force was sent to HAECO for interior conversion.
